These terms apply when you register for a workshop, teacher training, course or sacred journey with the School for Self Ascension, run by Manjula Singh in Chennai, India.

1. Registering

When you complete the registration form, your place is held, not yet confirmed. Manjula confirms every registration personally, usually after payment has been received. You will hear from her by WhatsApp or email. If a workshop is already full, she will tell you and either offer another date or return anything you have paid in full.

You must be 18 or over to register through this website. Please contact Manjula directly to arrange anything for someone younger.

2. Fees and payment

Fees are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) on each workshop. Where no fee is shown, it is arranged with Manjula directly.

Payment may be made by UPI, or through a payment provider's own secure page. Card details are never entered on this website and are never seen or stored by the school.

When you pay by UPI you are asked for your reference number. That tells Manjula to look for your payment; it is not itself proof of payment. Your place is confirmed once she has seen the money arrive.

3. Changes and cancellations

Cancellations and refunds are covered in the cancellation & refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

Manjula may need to change a date, a venue, or move a workshop online. If that happens you will be told as soon as possible and may either move to the new arrangement or receive a full refund.

4. Teacher trainings and certification

Teacher trainings are delivered under Manjula's accreditation with the Diana Cooper School of White Light (UK). Completing a training and receiving a certificate depends on attending the sessions and completing the work set. A certificate confirms you have completed that training; any further right to teach is subject to the accrediting body's own rules, not the school's.

5. Sacred journeys

Journeys involve travel arranged with third parties such as airlines, hotels, tour operators and guides, whose own terms apply alongside these. Unless it says otherwise, the fee does not include international flights, visas, travel insurance or personal expenses. You are responsible for your own valid passport, visas and travel insurance. Deposits for journeys are generally non-refundable, because they are paid to operators in advance; this is set out in the refund policy.

6. What these workshops are, and are not

Workshops, healing sessions and courses offered here are for personal, spiritual and educational development. They are not medical treatment and are not a substitute for medical or psychological care. Nothing offered diagnoses, treats or cures any condition.

Please continue any treatment prescribed to you, and speak to your doctor before taking part if you are pregnant, have epilepsy, a heart condition, a pacemaker or any other condition that may be affected by sound, deep relaxation or meditation. Please tell Manjula directly about anything relevant so she can look after you properly.

You take part of your own free will and remain responsible for your own wellbeing and decisions.

7. Behaviour and the group

These are small, personal groups. Please arrive on time, treat others with respect, and keep private anything shared by others in confidence. Manjula may ask someone to leave a workshop if their behaviour affects the safety or wellbeing of the group; no refund is due in that case.

8. Recordings and materials

Course manuals, handouts and recordings are for your own personal use. Please do not copy, share, resell or teach from them without permission. Please do not record sessions without asking first.

9. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself. Please tell us if you think someone else has access to your account.

10. Limits

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Beyond that, the school's responsibility in connection with a workshop is limited to the fee you paid for it. The school is not responsible for personal belongings, for travel disruption, or for losses caused by circumstances genuinely outside its control.

11. Your information

How your information is handled is set out in the privacy notice.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction.
